The EIDO Quality Committee is the collegiate body responsible for developing quality programmes at the school.

Membership

  • The EIDO management, which chairs the committee: Antonio Collazo Fernández
  • The EIDO Quality Coordinator/Academic Secretary, who acts as secretary: Ignacio Pérez Juste
  • Quality officers for the doctoral programmes in each field recognised in the EIDO’s RRI:
    • Arts and Humanities: Antonia Blanco Pesqueira

    • Social and Legal Sciences: Ángeles Parrilla Latas
    • Engineering and Architecture: Asunción Longo González

  • A representative of the graduate student body.
  • A representative of the partner organisations represented on the EIDO steering committee.

Functions

  • To report on the EIDO’s strategy and its review, where appropriate, as well as its monitoring.
  • To discuss and approve, where appropriate, the EIDO’s quality manual and quality procedures. In particular, to approve amendments to its annexes (forms, guidelines, etc.) when these evolve independently of the procedures.
  • To monitor the various programmes linked to improving the quality and sustainability of the EIDO and its affiliated doctoral programmes, and to propose relevant improvements.
  • Collaborate in the implementation, development and monitoring of quality and sustainability programmes.
  • Discuss, propose and monitor quality improvement measures, with the aim of continuously enhancing the quality of doctoral training across all the environments and processes that influence it, through ongoing collaboration with the collegiate bodies responsible for this area.
  • To participate actively in all academic processes relating to the EIDO’s educational provision (verification of new programmes; modification, suspension or discontinuation of existing ones; accreditation processes), and to issue its assessment in accordance with current regulations.
  • To exchange ideas, discuss and propose EIDO’s involvement in institutional, national and international initiatives relating to quality and sustainability.
